The Evolv Shaman Climbing Shoe - 2015 Review | Outdoor 2015

One of Evolv's most popular shoes, The Shaman is being updated for the Spring/Summer 2016 season. Its key new features include an improved fit (particularly at the heel where rubber has been removed from under the arch allowing the shoe to more easily conform to the curve of the foot), raised Velcro closure straps to give more room for toe-hooking and a new design to the toe patch itself to take advantage of this. For those already using the Shamans, the updated model features Evolv's unique love bump and knuckle box so if the current Shamans are a comfy fit for you at the toe, these should be no different. Ideal for boulderers, sport climbers or those doing a bit of both, the new Shaman is a strong update to Evolv's range and we're looking forward to giving them an in-depth try-out when they're released next year.
