After climbing and BASE jumping from the Eiger's famous 'mushroom' formation, climber and wingsuit pilot Tim Howell decided to extend his cross-sport adventures to the remaining five classic North faces of the Alps. Next on his list was Italy's Cima Grande and with a 12 hour weather window in which to attempt the route, Tim set out hoping that the stories he had heard of damp, loose rock on the upper pitches had been an exaggeration. The Comici route proved to be just as challenging as its reputation would suggest, but Tim was able to jump in beautiful conditions the next morning adding an exciting finish to one of the world's most impressive North face climbs.
