The Adidas Terrex X King, Adidas's latest trail running shoe, has been produced in association with Continental and is being described as 'a mountain bike tyre for your feet.' Using the exact same rubber from the Continental X King tyre, the sole is vulcanised into the upper webbing producing a shoe that is both very light and very robust. With the midsole removed, the Terrex X King is incredibly flexible making it easy to pack down and transport. With the midsole in however the shoe has all the stability you need to get out and hit the trails. Although officially a 'trail shoe,' Adidas are also touting the Terrex X King as a great option for mountain running and we can't wait to see how they measure up in the hills.
