Wild Women is a documentary following the lives and passions of eight incredible female athletes. Karen Darke is a paralympic cyclist, paratriathlete, and adventurer. In 2012 she competed at the London Paralympics winning a silver medal in the women's road time trial H1-2. Darke is paralyzed from the chest down following an accident while sea cliff climbing when she was 21. In 2006 she took part in an expedition which crossed Greenland's ice cap while sitting on skis using her arms and poles to cover the 372 mile crossing. She has also climbed Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, and El Capitan, and hand-cycled the length of Japan.
